Mary Elizabeth WITNEY 
Mary was born in 1917 in Shepparton, VIC.1 Mary's father was Arthur John WITNEY and her mother was Elizabeth Baird WHITELAW. Her paternal grandparents were Arthur Beniah WITNEY and Isabella Ann BARTON; her maternal grandparents were James Alexander WHITELAW and Grace Sommerville BAIRD. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Arthur, William, Albert, Edward, Hazel, Clarice, Ellen and Grace. She was the third youngest of the nine children.General Notes
