Albert Hudson WITNEY 
Albert was born in 1914 in Shepparton, VIC.1 Albert's father was Arthur John WITNEY and his mother was Elizabeth Baird WHITELAW. His paternal grandparents were Arthur Beniah WITNEY and Isabella Ann BARTON; his maternal grandparents were James Alexander WHITELAW and Grace Sommerville BAIRD. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Arthur, William, Edward, Hazel, Clarice, Ellen, Mary and Grace. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children.-
