Roy ROWLAND

Roy was born on September 19th, 1895 in Willunga, SA.¹ Roy's father was John Thomas ROWLAND and his mother was Rebecca POINTON. His maternal grandparents were James POINTON and Peggy POLKINGHORNE. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John, Ralph, Edgar, Gertrude, Rosetta, May and Beatrice. He was the second youngest of the eight known children.
