May ROWLAND 
May was born on December 16th, 1888 in Willunga, SA.1 May's father was John Thomas ROWLAND and her mother was Rebecca POINTON. Her maternal grandparents were James POINTON and Peggy POLKINGHORNE. She had four brothers and three sisters, named John, Ralph, Roy, Edgar, Gertrude, Rosetta and Beatrice. She was the fourth oldest of the eight known children.
