Agnes was born on April 17th, 1844 in O'Halloran Hill, Adelaide, SA.¹

Agnes' father was Palmer OCKENDEN and her mother was Emma MARSHALL.  Her paternal grandparents were William OCKENDEN and Elizabeth HILLS. She had four brothers and four sisters, named William, Palmer, Robert, Harry, Frances, Emma, Clara and Catherine.  She was the fourth oldest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 69 on December 5th, 1913 in QLD.²
