Margaret Caroline MATTHEWS

Margaret was born on October 16th, 1861 in Lefevre Peninsula, SA.¹   Margaret's father was Henry Thomas James MATTHEWS and her mother was Caroline FLEET.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry MATTHEWS and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were Thomas FLEET and <Unknown>. She had five brothers and six sisters, named Samuel, James, Arthur, Arthur, Herbert, Typhena, Diolinda, Elizabeth, Clara, Amelia and Letitie.  She was the oldest of the twelve children.
