Amelia Sarah MATTHEWS

Amelia was born on July 18th, 1872 in Woodville, Adelaide, SA.¹   Amelia's father was Henry Thomas James MATTHEWS and her mother was Caroline FLEET.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry MATTHEWS and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were Thomas FLEET and <Unknown>. She had five brothers and six sisters, named Samuel, James, Arthur, Arthur, Herbert, Margaret, Typhena, Diolinda, Elizabeth, Clara and Letitie.  She was the fifth youngest of the twelve children.
