Robert JOWSEY 
Robert was born on November 1st, 1844 in Wykeham, North Yorkshire, England and his christening took place there on November 7th, 1844.1 2 Robert's father was John JOWSEY and his mother was Ann ROBINSON. His paternal grandparents were Richard JOWSEY and Mary BAKER; his maternal grandparents were Thomas ROBINSON and Ann CROSS. He had four brothers and five sisters, named William, Thomas, Richard, John, Elizabeth, Sarah, Jane, Elizabeth and Mary. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 39 on March 4th, 1884 in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, England.1 General Notes
