Ann was born on May 31st, 1801 in Hackness, North Yorkshire, England and her christening took place there on July 12th, 1801.1 2   Ann's father was Thomas ROBINSON and her mother was Ann CROSS. She had a brother and four sisters, named William, Mary, Frances, Dorothy and Christiana.  She was the second oldest of the six known children.  She died at the age of 78 on September 4th, 1879 in Wykeham, North Yorkshire, England.1
