Dorothy was born in 1803 and her christening took place on August 10th, 1803 in Hackness, North Yorkshire, England.1   Dorothy's father was Thomas ROBINSON and her mother was Ann CROSS. She had a brother and four sisters, named William, Mary, Ann, Frances and Christiana.  She was the third youngest of the six known children.
