John Thomson

John was born about 1859 in Cambusnethan, Lanarkshire, England.

John's father was William Thomson and his mother was Marion Dickson Clarkson. His paternal grandparents were William Robertson Thomson and Elizabeth Sneddon. He had four brothers and a sister, named William, James, David, Benjamin and Marion. He was the third youngest of the six children.
