David Thomson

David was born about 1856 in Cambusnethan, Lanarkshire, England.

David's father was William Thomson and his mother was Marion Dickson Clarkson. His paternal grandparents were William Robertson Thomson and Elizabeth Sneddon. He had four brothers and a sister, named William, James, John, Benjamin and Marion. He was the third oldest of the six children.
