Robert Sligh 
Robert was born on June 24th, 1827 in Ayton, Berwickshire, Scotland and his baptism took place there about 1827. Robert's father was Robert Sligh and his mother was Elizabeth Bogue Cleghorn. His paternal grandparents were James Sligh and Mary Tait. He had three brothers and two sisters, named James, John, George, Jane and Mary. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 36 on July 3rd, 1863 in Gettysburg, Adams, Pennsylvania, USA.-
