Jane Bogue Sligh 
Jane was born on October 14th, 1823 in Ayton, Berwickshire, Scotland and her baptism took place there about 1823. Jane's father was Robert Sligh and her mother was Elizabeth Bogue Cleghorn. Her paternal grandparents were James Sligh and Mary Tait. She had four brothers and a sister, named James, Robert, John, George and Mary. She was the second oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 83 in 1906 in Nunica, Ottawa, Michigan, USA.-
