George Ross 
George was born on May 2nd, 1864 in Out Rawcliffe, Lancashire, England. George's father was Thomas Ross and his mother was Ann Singleton. His paternal grandparents were William Ross and Jane Robinson; his maternal grandparents were John Singleton and Margaret (Peggy) Seed. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named William, John, Tom, James Nicholas, Bob, Ellen, Reuben, Arthur, Margaret, Jane Elizabeth, Mary Ann and Alice. He was the seventh oldest of the thirteen children.-
