Walter Muir 
Walter was born about August 10th, 1814 in Fordel Colliery, Dalgetty, Fife, Scotland. Walter's father was David G Muir and his mother was Janet Beveridge. His maternal grandparents were George Beveridge and Janet Muir. He had two brothers and six sisters, named George Alex, John, Janet, Christian, Jane, Grissel, Dorothy and Agnes. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died on April 29th, 1880 in Burrell Twp, Indiana, PA.-
