Jane Muir 
Jane was born on July 15th, 1816 in Fordel Colliery, Dalgetty, Fife, Scotland. Jane's father was David G Muir and her mother was Janet Beveridge. Her maternal grandparents were George Beveridge and Janet Muir. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Walter, George Alex, John, Janet, Christian, Grissel, Dorothy and Agnes. She was the fourth oldest of the nine children. She died about 1873.-
