Dorothy Muir

Dorothy was born on August 11th, 1823 in Fordel Colliery, Dalgetty, Fife, Scotland. Dorothy's father was David G Muir and her mother was Janet Beveridge. Her maternal grandparents were George Beveridge and Janet Muir. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Walter, George Alex, John, Janet, Christian, Jane, Grissel and Agnes. She was the third youngest of the nine children.
