Hon. Robert Lindsay 
Robert was born on January 25th, 1754. Robert's father was James Lindsay (5th Earl of Balcarres) and his mother was Anne Dalrymple (Countess of Balcarres ). His paternal grandparents were Colin Lindsay (3rd Earl of Balcarres) and Lady Margaret Campbell; his maternal grandparents were Sir Robert Dalrymple (of Castleton) and Anne Cunningham. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Alexander, Colin, Charles Dalrymple , John, Elizabeth Scot , Hugh, Anne and Margaret Janet . He died at the age of 82 on May 18th, 1836.-
