Sir David Lindsay (1st Lord of Balcarres)

David was born on March 17th, 1587 and his baptism took place on March 17th, 1587 in Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland. David's father was John Lindsay (of Balcarres, Lord Menmuir) and his mother was Marion Guthrie. His paternal grandparents were David Lindsay (9th Earl of Crawford) and Katherine Campbell. He was an only child. He died about March 1641. He was buried in Chapel, Balcarres, Fife, Scotland.
