Charles Lindsay (2nd Earl of Balcarres) 
Charles was born on February 7th, 1651. Charles' father was Alexander Lindsay (1st Earl of Balcarres ) and his mother was Lady Anne MacKenzie. His paternal grandparents were Sir David Lindsay (1st Lord of Balcarres) and Lady Sophia Seton; his maternal grandparents were Colin MacKenzie (1st Earl of Seaforth) and Lady Margaret Seton. He had a brother and three sisters, named Colin, Henrietta , Anne and Sophia . He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 11 on October 15th, 1662.-
