Jean Isobel was born on December 14th, 1919 in Sandbrook, Co Carlow, Ireland.  Jean Isobel's father was Brig Gen Bridges George Lewis CB, DSO  and her mother was Laura Isabelle Montgomery Glenn.  Her paternal grandparents were Rev G. B. Lewis and Frances Mary Hesketh; her maternal grandparents were William Glenn and Edith Montgomery Moore. She had a brother and a sister, named George William (Peter) and Ursula Anne.  She was the second oldest of the three children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named George Bridges, James Christopher Francis and Thetis.  She died at the age of 75 on January 19th, 1995 in Igtham, Kent, England.  She was buried on January 26th, 1995 in Igtham, Kent, England.
