Lt James Christopher Francis Lewis

James Christopher Francis was born about 1891 in Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.  James Christopher Francis' father was Brig Gen Bridges George Lewis CB, DSO  and his mother was Mary Robinson Burn-Murdoch.  His paternal grandparents were Rev G. B. Lewis and Frances Mary Hesketh; his maternal grandparents were Rev Canon James McGibbon Burn-Murdoch and Maria Hannah Carr. He had a brother and a sister, named George Bridges and Thetis.  He was the youngest of the three children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named George William (Peter), Jean Isobel and Ursula Anne.  He died on April 26th, 1918.
