Thetis Lewis

Thetis was born about 1881 in India.  Thetis' father was Brig Gen Bridges George Lewis CB, DSO  and her mother was Mary Robinson Burn-Murdoch.  Her paternal grandparents were Rev G. B. Lewis and Frances Mary Hesketh; her maternal grandparents were Rev Canon James McGibbon Burn-Murdoch and Maria Hannah Carr. She had two brothers named George Bridges and James Christopher Francis.  She was the oldest of the three children. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named George William (Peter), Jean Isobel and Ursula Anne.
