Laura Isabelle was born on January 16th, 1894 in Pomeroy, Tyrone, Ireland. Laura Isabelle's father was William Glenn and her mother was Edith Montgomery Moore. Her paternal grandparents were William Glenn and Mary White; her maternal grandparents were John Moore and Arabella Mary Holmes. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Cecil William, Robert William Lowrie, Flora Arabella {Daisy}, Edith Marion, Eileen Gertrude and Dorothea Elizabeth Winifred. She was the third youngest of the seven children. She died in Camberley.
