Isobel Lees 
Isobel was born in 1701 in Elginhaugh, Lasswade, Midlothian, Scotland and her baptism took place there on May 4th, 1701. Isobel's father was John Lees and her mother was Isabell Barrowman. Her maternal grandparents were John Barrowman and Janet Gray. She had five brothers and two sisters, named James, John, William, William, George, Janet and Helen. She was the third oldest of the eight children.-
