Elizabeth was born about 1811. Elizabeth's father was Rev William Ewin Girdlestone and her mother was Mariane Unknown. Her paternal grandparents were Rev William Girdlestone and Elizabeth Jessop Ewin. She had six brothers and a sister, named Charles Osbourne, James, Henry John, James, Charles William, Francis Paddon and Emily Bradfield. She was the oldest of the eight children. She died on April 4th, 1821 in Kelling, Norfolk, England.-
