Charles Osbourne was born about 1819. Charles Osbourne's father was Rev William Ewin Girdlestone and his mother was Mariane Unknown. His paternal grandparents were Rev William Girdlestone and Elizabeth Jessop Ewin. He had five brothers and two sisters, named James, Henry John, James, Charles William, Francis Paddon, Elizabeth and Emily Bradfield. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died on November 23rd, 1828 in Kelling, Norfolk, England.-
