Martha Borrowman 
Martha was born on April 7th, 1743 in Pentland, Lasswade, Midlothian, Scotland and her baptism took place there on April 15th, 1743. Martha's father was James Borrowman and her mother was Marion Pennycock. Her paternal grandparents were James Borrowman and Elizabeth Borthwick; her maternal grandparents were James Pennycock and Marion Hodge. She had a brother and four sisters, named James, Alison, Isabel, Elizabeth and Christian. She was the second oldest of the six children.-
