George Bailas Beath 
George Bailas was born on November 1st, 1826 in Corner Of Virgin St., Greenock, Renfrew, Scotland. George Bailas' father was David Beath and his mother was Jane (Jean) Maitland. His paternal grandparents were David Beath and Jean Durie; his maternal grandparents were Robert Maitland and Elizabeth Mochry. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Robert Maitland, Alexander, John, George, James, Elisabeth and Jane. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Hugh Gavin, David Alexander and Eliza Park. He died at the age of 1 on November 14th, 1827 in Greenock, Renfrew, Scotland.-
