George Beath 
George was born in 1828 in Greenock, Renfrew, Scotland. George's father was David Beath and his mother was Jane (Jean) Maitland. His paternal grandparents were David Beath and Jean Durie; his maternal grandparents were Robert Maitland and Elizabeth Mochry. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Robert Maitland, Alexander, John, George Bailas, James, Elisabeth and Jane. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Hugh Gavin, David Alexander and Eliza Park. He died at the age of 2 on November 18th, 1830.-
