Sidney Fairfax was born about 1873 in Shotley Bridge, County Durham, England. Sidney Fairfax's father was James Annandale and his mother was Annie C. Renton. His maternal grandparents were John Renton and Hannah Siddell. He had a brother and three sisters, named Charles James Renton, Marian Isabel, Nan and Norah B.. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died on July 23rd, 1937 in 5 Seville Place, Newcastle.-
