Jessie Mccraw was born in 1898 in Lilydale, Victoria, Australia. Jessie Mccraw's father was Joseph Ringland Anderson and her mother was Annie Love Elder. Her maternal grandparents were Nairne Guthrie Elder and Jessie McCraw. She had three brothers and a sister, named Nairne Elder, Nairne Elder (Jock), Joseph Ringland and Ann Fisher (Nancy). She was the youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 78 in 1976 in Mont Albert, Victoria, Australia. She was buried in Box Hill Cemetery, Victoria, Australia.-
