Simon Wilfred Littlewood

Simon was born in 1889 in Waterhouses, Co Durham.¹ Simon's father was Simon Littlewood and his mother was Mary Hannah Bell. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Littlewood and Frances Riseborough; his maternal grandparents were Henderson Bell and Jane Smith. He had five brothers and a sister, named John, Albert, Henderson, Alfred, Joseph and Jennie. He was the oldest of the seven children.
