Peter Knowles

Peter was born in 1821 in Co Durham.¹   Peter's father was Archibald Knowles and his mother was Ann Hope. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Archibald, Robert, William, Thomas, Barbara, Mary, Jane, Margaret and Ann.  He was the fourth oldest of the ten children.
