Mary Helen Farrer

Mary was born in 1879 in Sheriff Hill, Co Durham.¹ Mary's father was John Farrer and her mother was Ann Waugh. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Farrer and Anne Gibson; her maternal grandparents were William Waugh and Mary Dodd. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, John, Cecilia, Annie and Isabella. She was the third youngest of the six children.
