John Boynton

John was born in 1860 in Armley, Leeds, Yorkshire.¹ John's father was Samuel Boynton and his mother was Ann Eliza Garforth. His paternal grandparents were Henry Boynton and Mary Ann Cowgill. He had five brothers and a sister, named Samuel, Henry, William, Alfred, Samuel and Mary. He was the third oldest of the seven children.
