Martha Booth

Martha was born in 1831 in Leeds, Yorkshire and her christening took place on January 30th, 1831 at St Peters Parish Church, Leeds, Yorkshire.¹   Martha's father was Joseph Booth and her mother was Elizabeth Hargrave. She had a brother and six sisters, named James, Sarah, Ann, Harriet, Elizabeth, Eliza and Mary.  She was the third youngest of the eight children.
