James Booth

James was born in 1825 in Leeds, Yorkshire and his christening took place on July 11th, 1825 at St Peters Parish Church, Leeds, Yorkshire.¹   James' father was Joseph Booth and his mother was Elizabeth Hargrave. He had seven sisters named Sarah, Ann, Harriet, Elizabeth, Martha, Eliza and Mary.  He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.
