Anna was born on January 23rd, 1762 in St Johns Parish, Prince George's, Maryland, USA.  Anna's father was William Webster and her mother was Ann Turner.  Her paternal grandparents were William Webster and Jane Elizabeth Gibbs. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Webster, William, Johnathan, Philip, Zepheniah, Elizabeth and Sarah.  She was the third oldest of the eight children.
