    Funeral services for Odelia Dyson 70 of 1038 Polk Ave. Orange will be Thursday at 10 am at Fuller Funeral Home.
    
    The Rev. W.F. Gamblin, pastor of the First United Pentecost Church will officiate.  Burial will be in the Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly, LA.
    
    She died Monday at 7 pm in Orange Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
    
    A native of Lockport, LA she was a resident for the past 55 (?) years. 
    
    Survivors include seven daughters, Belle Kennedy, Gloria Jacobs, Pauline Elmore all of Orange, Margaret Welsh and Fannye Williams both of Vinton, LA.  Anne Simmons of Sulphur, LA and Peggy Merritt of Charleston, SC.  Three sons, Willie Dyson Jr. and Chris Richard Dyson both of Orange and Pat McPayne of Huffman. Two sisters, Sylvia Hughes of Channelview and Melina Roy of Vinton.  Four brothers, Mac Duhon, Joe Duhon, Pierre Duhon and Gus Duhon all of Orange,  42 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.

    not sure about the 55 years, newspaper had a bad copy of it.  Not real sure if it was Fannye but that is what it looked like.  Hope this helps.  I will see if I can find anything else out later when I get a chance.
