    iii. Marie Josephe PREJEAN was born on 7 Mar 1735 and died on 15 Jun 1818 in St. Martinville, Louisiana at age 83.
    
    Son of Jean Baptiste DUHON and Agnes HEBERT, married in 1756 in Halifax, Nova Scotia (Acadia). Charles was born on 11 May 1734 in Port Royal, Acadia.
    
    Marriage Notes: Were held captive by the British at Halifax until after the Treaty of Paris (1763).
    
    Wall of Names, 16, calls him Charles DUON.  A middle name, Claude, is found only in the Cabanocé census of 1766.  Arsenault, Généalogie, 2481, says he was born in 1734, but the Cabanocé census of 1766 & the Atakapas census of 1777 say otherwise.  See Bourgeois, Cabanocey, 164; De Ville, Southwest LA.
