William Cole

William was born on June 13th, 1775 in Coles Creek, Natchez District, Jefferson County, Mississippi. William's father was James Cole Jr and his mother was Mary Rentfroe. His paternal grandfather was James Cole Sr and his paternal grandmother is J. (Cole); his maternal grandparents were James Rentfroe and Ester Van Bibber. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John, Stephen, James, Solomon, Mark, Mary, Sarah and Susanna. He was the eighth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 64 on July 10th, 1839 in Tensas Parish, Louisiana.
