Lillian was born on March 11th, 1895 in Paterson, New Jersey.  Lillian's father was John Henry Cherry and her mother was Amelia (Emily)(Amilia)(Amalie) (Mila) Wilhemina Grossbeck (Grosbeck).  Her paternal grandparents were George Cherry and Johanna Mary Rogers (Bloom); her maternal grandparents were Franz A Grosspietsch (Grossbeck) and Amelia Pauline  Wiesner. She had a brother and four sisters, named John, Hasel, Florence, Beatrice (Beatricke) and Evelyn (Emilia).  She was the oldest of the six children.  She died from a stroke at the age of 79 on November 8th, 1974 in Paterson, New Jersey.  She was buried in Laurel Grove Cemetary, Totowa, New Jersey.
