John Young

John was born on October 7th, 1802. John's father was James Young and his mother was Katherine Alexander. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Young and Katherine Baillie; his maternal grandparents were Alexander Alexander and Helen Grinlaw/Greenlaw. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Alexander, James, Andrew, William, Helen, Cathren, Margaret and Mary. He was the second youngest of the nine children.
