Alexander Young

Alexander was born on January 20th, 1788. Alexander's father was James Young and his mother was Katherine Alexander. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Young and Katherine Baillie; his maternal grandparents were Alexander Alexander and Helen Grinlaw/Greenlaw. He had four brothers and four sisters, named James, Andrew, John, William, Helen, Cathren, Margaret and Mary. He was the second oldest of the nine children.
