Jean Hardie 
Jean was born in 1821 in Dunnichen.1 Jean's father was James Hardie and her mother was Christian Thomson. Her maternal grandparents were James Thomson and Kathryn Gibson. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Patrick, James, William, Andrew, John, Isabella, Margaret and Helen. She was the second youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 71 on January 23rd, 1892 in Alms House,Kirriemuir, Angus, Scotland. She was buried on January 26th, 1892 in Kirriemuir, Angus, Scotland.2 3 General Notes
