Donald Gillies

Donald was born in 1791 in 4 Old South Dell, Barvas, Ross-shire, Scotland.  Donald's father was Alexander Gillies and his mother was Margaret Smith. He had a sister named Catherine.  He was the younger of the two children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Angus, John, Ann, Margaret and Flora.  He died at the age of 83 on May 14th, 1874 in South Dell, Barvas, Ross-shire, Scotland.¹
