Ann Gillies

Ann was born in 1810 in 4 Old South Dell, Barvas, Ross-shire, Scotland.  Ann's father was Alexander Gillies and her mother was Margaret MacDonald.  Her maternal grandparents were John MacDonald and Margaret MacDonald. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Angus, John, Margaret and Flora.  She was the oldest of the five children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Donald and Catherine.  She died at the age of 76 on May 13th, 1886.
