James W. Whitfield Jr. 
James W. was born in April 1899 in Person Co, NC and his baptism took place in Census 1900. James W.'s father was James William Whitfield and his mother was Katherine Lewis Hicks. His maternal grandparents were David Alfred Hicks and Sarah Ann Rhew. He had three brothers and three sisters, named George David, Jasper Lorenzel, William Dolphin, Sarah A., Macy B. and Fannie S.. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 11 in 1910 in Person Co, NC.General Notes
